RB's Racing

In the past, RB's Cyclery has been a sponsor of Memphis Racing Cyclists (MRC). In 2008 RB’s Racing riders were 1st and/or 2nd in several 12-24 hour races along with 4th overall in the National Ultra Endurance Race series . RB's racing is contesting select Tennessee Bicycle Racing Association (TBRA), Arkansas Mountain Bike Championship Series and the South Central Regional Championship Series. In addition to cross country races RB's Racing can be found at many of the mountain bike endurance races. Endurance races are fairly new and range from 50 - 100 mile off road races to timed events ranging from 6 to 24 hours.  RB’s will be promoting the Ironbutt100 fun ride again this year. Members of RB's Racing originated the "12 Hours of Stank " in 1999, the "Legend of Stanky Creek" in 2001 and the "Ironbutt" in 1997. RB’s Members will be found having fun at various Duathlons, Ultra running races and playing on the local trails and roads.

RB's Racing sponsors the 9th annual Ironbutt

The 9th Ironbutt will once again be a 100 miler by popular demand. The Ironbutt came about one day when the after ride talk turned to all the different trails systems the immediate Memphis area is so lucky to have. Then it turned to "would it be possible to ride every trail in Memphis in one day?" As things progressed it was decided the to do it right we would need to ride to all the trails also. Thus the Ironbutt idea was hatched. Ride Stanky Creek, the Wolf River Trails, Tour de Wolf, Herb Parson's and Lakeland's Harvester Park Trails on historically the longest day of the year.
